chamage?!

happy birthday to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so i didn't really get to sleep in, but i did get to go shopping ALL by myself ,as my gift from my husband, and not only that, i found great deals. oh ya! i got a cute black dress to wear over jeans for $12.50, a pair of really nice dress pants from mexx for $10, a really cute suit jacket for $10, two pairs of leather gloves (lined with cashmere) for $5 ea, a pair of bermuda plaid shorts for $10 and some fun fuzzy socks. i love clearance sales. makes my heart happy!and i still get to go for greek and a movie tonight. i think we're gonna try to see the prestige. very exciting.

so all you girls out there, you have one year to save up to come and party with me for my 30th birthday. a fun filled weekend at the fairmont banffsprings hotel, and their world class spa. is there really a better way to ring in your 30's. i think not. can't wait. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm spa!

stupid theater

so i was supposed to go and see "the holiday" with frankie tonight and the theaters stopped showing it as of friday. stupid theaters. gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........and there's nothing else really playing for us to see together. so we're gonna wait. stupid waiting.

argh

i have the worst headache today. which sucks cause it affects everyting, you feel nasty so it comes out in your attitude and speech, which makes life with the family.......fun. and we had the obligitory family dinner at my aunts, which i love to go but i wish i was feeling better so it wasn't soooo much work and that i could enjoy it more. then on the way home brock got called to help his brother move. always what you wanna do on your day off. so he's grumpy cause it's a day of nothing he wants to do, just what he has to do.
i got a FABULOS dinner with friends last night and got to see "little miss sunshine". very funny, darkly funny, but funny. i really enjoyed it and would like to see it again. but i'm planning to go see the holiday tonight. very excited and michelle is taking me for greek and a movie tomorrow for my birthday. woo hoo! more movies than i've seen in a very long time. so great.
any hoo i'm off to take a tylenol and keep the kids quiet. mmmmmm quiet.

only 3 more sleeps till my birthday. shower me world!any whoo, i went to MAC the other day and picked up a few new shaddows. the girl there gave me a suggestion to use their paint in neutral as a base to my shaddow so the color's more vibrant. NO JOKE! you gotta try this stuff if you love vibrant shaddows. such a differance. it's so great. and don't worry Rae, i'm saving all my cast aways for you in the summer.
i'm hoping to scoot to the mall this afternoon for some birthday shopping. mabye i'll find some super deals. i do love a good deal. i'll keep you posted.
and Rae, God's already paved the way. i knew that when i was down there. it's your home and he's blessing you so much. and it's only the begining. Take rest in His promises and enjoy the ride of faith and blessings. love ya babe!

day three

so i had i feeling i'd be too dull to have something to say every day. the entire excitement of my day is superstore, laundry and work tonight. hope that's not as sad as it sounds. oh well, it's my life regardless. on the perk side of things i found a fabulous chocolate brown sweater durring my grocery shopping for $4.97. can't beat that, and i didn't have to shop alone, thank God. nothing's worse than grocery shopping alone with the kids. the snells joined me.
only 6 more sleeps until my champage birthday! for the rest of the world who doesn't know what that is, it's when you turn the age of the day you were born. i'm turning 29 on the 29th. so far i've been taken to see night at the museum. very funny. and had a fabulous dinner at my parents of blueberry perogies. oohhhh baby. if you've never had, you're so missing out! not a bad start to my 29th year gracing the planet i must say.
well i should do my hair before i have to work,not much use in trying cause the color's nasty faded and i really need a haircut, but that's all coming on saturday. yay!

always inspiring me

well, i guess i'm slowly joining the new melenium. My good friend Rachel, who is always inspiring me, makes her blog so fun i just had to do it too. so welcome all who are weary, detached and longing for the days they were fashionable. you've found a kindred spirit here. hopefully i'll be able to keep up with this new found fun, but if i stray please forgive me. i don't even know that my life is interesting enough for me to be doing this, but you never know until you try i guess. it's a very quite but brief part of my day where the kids are napping, my husband is working and the only noise is the house is the dishwasher runner, which sounds like a desil truck driving around my kitchen, so it's as quite as it gets. and for a few moments i get to breath. aaaaahhhhh!the excitment of my life is that i'm an aunty now for the first time. only by friendship, not by blood. but i take it so much more seriously. i mean you know you love your kids(duh) and your family is always your family, but to have the honor of an honorary aunty is a BIG deal. here's a little man that not only to i get to see grow up and play with my daughters, but i get to help when i can, love on him, teach him the little i know, and help show him the feminine side of God. what a huge thing. oh, and also how to start a wicked food fight and how to pick on his mom REALLY well. oh ya baby!any hoo.. i'm out for now. see y'all later!
